My family was introduced to Christian Science after my great uncle was healed of a debilitating disease.

From a young age, I felt a strong desire to travel and help others. After training in childcare, I volunteered with Save the Children Fund, working with Tibetan refugees in northern India. On returning home, I pursued further training in social work, focusing on families and young people. Around this time, I married, started a family, and took class instruction.

Life provided many opportunities to practice Christian Science. Praying for my family naturally extended into supporting friends and neighbors. I became Journal-listed and later took Normal class instruction.

After many years in seaside Scarborough, I now live in nearby York—a vibrant and historic city where I teach class and hold my association. This life-long commitment continues to unfold in new and meaningful ways.

Over the years, I’ve loved organizing and supporting Christian Science Youth meetings through prayer and collaboration. Serving as a Visiting Christian Science Prison Minister offered profound opportunities to witness God’s love in challenging circumstances. I’ve also served in various roles in my local branch church and worked as a Christian Science lecturer from 2008 to 2016.

One of my greatest joys is spending time with my grown children and their families. I continue to grow spiritually, teach my own pupils, and nurture our Association family with gratitude and love.
