Christian Science is the framework of my life. The naturalness of turning to God is something I first learned from my parents, grandparents and Sunday School teachers. Some of my earliest memories are of quick physical healings, occasionally with the help of a practitioner, often through my own prayers. Always with the support of my family.

When I left home to attend college, where I was the only Christian Scientist, I learned I can rely on my relationship with God no matter where I am. God is always with us, providing us with everything we need --health, supply, companionship, joy. The progressive step of Primary class instruction further grounded me in the understanding of how to heal in Christian Science. Consistent study of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures is a constant source of inspiration and renewal.

Before I became a Journal-listed practitioner in 2011, I had a rewarding career as a writer. I wrote for The Christian Science Monitor on the Arts and Home Forum Pages, and I was a freelance writer, and a staff editor and contributor of poetry and articles at Journal Sentinel Herald. I have worked on several projects for The Christian Science Publishing Society and Committee on Publication as a songwriter, book editor, and in social media.

I became a teacher in 2015. I think Christian Science provides a loving structure for living a life of service and healing that is available to everyone.
