My love for Christian Science healing began as a young teenager. My mother and grandmother were healed of chronic ailments, and I was permanently healed of migraine headaches by reading Mary Baker Eddy’s textbook Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. My membership in The Mother Church, a branch church, then Primary class instruction, quickly followed. A singing career developed with appearances on TV, cruise ships, and in 133 shows for US troops in the Vietnam War. Constantly turning to God for help during four months in Vietnam, convinced me of the unfailing power of His love and care.
After this life-changing experience, I left performing, married, and briefly taught music in high schools. Soon the desire to be a Christian Science practitioner caused me to leave the music field. While developing my healing practice, I presented Sunday School workshops throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 1979 I began advertising in the Journal as a practitioner. Service to The Mother Church as both a Field and Regional Assistant followed.
After moving to Queensland with my husband, a yearning grew to help others learn to practice Christian Science healing. I took Normal class in1991 and commenced teaching in Brisbane. While continuing my healing practice and holding classes, I spoke publicly about Christian Science healing for ten years on the Board of Lectureship and wrote about it in the church periodicals as a contributing editor.
Today I continue to share Christian Science healing through my practice, teaching and Association meetings in Melbourne, and the worldwide web.
