Growing up, I loved attending the Christian Science Sunday School, where I learned about God’s love for mankind, Jesus’ healing ministry, and Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery of the Comforter, as promised by Jesus. That experience strengthened my deep love for Christian Science and my desire to know more about man’s relationship with God and to put it into practice. My brother and I were raised in a loving household with a single mother. During this time, I endeavored to know God as my Father-Mother. The truth that divine Love meets every human need enabled me to grow in my understanding and practice of Christian Science.
While in college I was led to take Primary class instruction, where I learned more about the Principle and rule of Christian Science and how to apply and demonstrate the healing power of the Christ, Truth. I became a Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner while my husband and I raised our family in the St. Louis area.
I’ve loved the opportunities I’ve had to serve the Cause of Christian Science: through branch church work, serving on the board of a Christian Science Nursing facility, and currently serving as the Christian Science Committee on Publication for Missouri.
Through my healing practice and experiences serving the Cause, I was led to take Normal class instruction. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to help others learn how to heal.
