College and university students talking about the relevance of Christian Science
Christian Science Organizations (or CSOs) provide space to explore the relevance of Christian Science and church. They aim to support any student who wants to learn more about God through Christian Science.
What do CSOs do?
All CSOs are run a little differently, and the level of activity varies. Sometimes it’s just a group connecting and sharing ideas. Sometimes it’s regular testimony meetings or sponsoring activities on campus. Some other examples of what CSOs do are:
Share together: consider ideas in the weekly Bible Lesson, or from the Christian Science periodicals.
Sponsor classroom talks: Christian Science lecturers and others can be invited to speak at classes that relate to Christian Science or Mary Baker Eddy. Examples include classes on women’s history, philosophy, comparative religion, law, and medicine.
Participate in panels or discussions with other faith groups.
Host a Christian Science lecture for the college or university community.
Set up a table at student activities fairs or campus festivals.
