From an early age, I felt a deep love for Christian Science. I remember eagerly counting the days until my twelfth birthday so I could join The Mother Church, and by fifteen I already knew that being a practitioner was the path I wanted to follow. That desire to serve through healing has stayed with me ever since.

 

Class instruction opened my thought to a fuller sense of Truth and its wide-reaching impact. It gave me confidence in the healing method Christ Jesus taught and proved. Years ago, I experienced a healing of what had been medically diagnosed as a broken neck — something many might call miraculous. Through Christian Science, I came to understand that healing as divinely natural. It revealed more to me of divine Love’s constant presence and my unbroken relationship with God, lessons that continue to shape my life and work.

 

Before becoming a Journal-listed practitioner in 2005, I earned a BA from San José State University and an MA from Stanford University. Music has always been another joy in my life. I spent many years teaching and performing violin and general music, and I had the opportunity to tour internationally with several choral groups. Yet the song that has always felt closest to my heart is my love for the healing ministry.

 

Teaching Christian Science is a privilege I cherish. It gives me the opportunity to share the understanding of the Christ that has been so generously unfolding in my life, and to support others as they discover its healing power for themselves.
