As a small child, I always felt at home in church. The more I learned about Christ Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy, the more they became close friends, whose teachings showed me how God’s love and tender care heal and protect me, and others, from illness and danger. Growing up, I had powerful proof that Christian Science heals, and is reliable and transformative. These healings, including a diagnosed case of strep throat, inspired me to help others realize the healing power that comes from an understanding of God as infinite, divine Principle, Love.

My experiences living around the country and overseas inspired my love for international relations, languages, history, and music. The desire to find solutions to the global challenges of our day led me to Washington, DC. Prior to becoming a Christian Science practitioner in 2015, I served as a policy advisor in the United States House of Representatives, specializing in space policy. I was also privileged to work in various positions with The Mother Church and as a historical researcher at The Mary Baker Eddy Library.

It’s been a joy to contribute to the Christian Science periodicals and to be an active branch church member. Becoming an authorized teacher of Christian Science in 2021 came out of an expanded love for God and others.

My husband and I live on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, where I am currently serving as Christian Science Committee on Publication for the District of Columbia.
