Susan Breuer CSB

From an early age, I felt a deep love for Christian Science. I remember eagerly counting the days until my twelfth birthday so I could join The Mother Church, and by fifteen I already knew that being a practitioner was the path I wanted to follow.

The Love that Heals

This talk is an exploration of love as more than sentiment—divine Love is a spiritual law with the power to heal. Drawing from her father's transformational healing and teachings from Christian Science, she explores the idea that divine Love is the true nature of God.

Robert Coe Gilbert CSB

Although a life-long Christian Scientist, I didn’t embrace it fully until I had to deal with a number of challenges in college. After graduation, I was accepted into The Mother Church chaplain training program, attended seminary, and had a variety of assignments in the Army, including military prisons, hospitals, and a tour of duty in Vietnam. The public practice of healing naturally evolved and I became listed in the Journal in 1976. After completing active duty, my wife and I moved to California, where we raised two sons.

Thomas Richard Mitchinson CSB

Christian Science healing. I love those words! In my teen years, I suffered from a skin condition that would come and go. During this time I studied Christian Science deeply.

Kari Mashos CSB

At an early age I loved reading the Bible for its inspiring accounts of healing. I found it comforting, strengthening and thought-provoking.

Ann K. Kneeland, CS

Growing up in a family that loved and practiced Christian Science, Ann saw how God heals sickness and relationship problems, meets financial needs, solves business issues, and answers life’s questions. In the Christian Science Sunday School, Ann learned to rely upon the healing ideas in the Bible, as explained in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
