My deep love for Christian Science healing began as a young teenager. My mother and grandmother were healed of chronic ailments, and I was permanently healed of migraine headaches by reading Mary Baker Eddy’s textbook,  Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Participating in Christian Science class instruction is a natural step of progress in the practice of Christian Science healing.

From an early age, I witnessed the undeniable power of Christian Science healing. One of my first experiences—instantaneously healing a close family friend of smoking—awakened in me a deep desire to help others through the practice of spiritual healing.

I always knew there was something special about Christian Science. From a young age, I aspired to be a full-time practitioner of this healing truth, yearning to help others experience the healing power of God and find freedom from suffering. After graduating from Stanford University with a BA in economics, I worked five years in my family’s farming and orchard business while listening and praying for next steps toward a career of Christian Science healing.

At an early age I found Christian Science to be the surest Comforter.  It was my close companion from teen years into adulthood, healing and sustaining me during tough times and providing counsel and assurance through many decisions related to family, education, and career.

The hunger for all things true has been the heart of my search, quest, and practice of Christian Science healing. I have found no other teaching that gets to the crux of it:  Why Christ Jesus was so confident that we too could and would follow in his footsteps.
