Teacher Profile

Doris Ulich, CSB

Creative order runs like a red thread through my life. It's found in music (I taught piano and performed in concerts for 10 years) and was essential in the tea room that my husband and I ran for five years. It is one of the cornerstones of Christian Science that I so love to rely on when doing the best job ever - the healing practice of Christian Science. My two grandmothers received Mary Baker Eddy's book Science and Health with Keys to the Scriptures, when they urgently needed it. As a teenager, I questioned everything I read in it and learned in Sunday school. But I always got the same short answer: “It's true.” It was difficult to argue against that! To know, trust and experience this law of true order in accordance with divine love is a privilege. And it is always creative, always new and my deepest wish is to contribute to making this universal divine science more accessible and understandable to the world.I am so grateful to be a member of a worldwide church. I mean that I am connected to the Mother Church and the various activities through which I was and still am of service to this loving, healing Church.
