There’s a Psalm that has helped me discover and follow my life’s path: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37) While in college I took courses in architecture, but discovered that my heart was in radio broadcasting, so I took that step and spent time working at the college radio station. Then I was drafted into the Army, which led to serving in American Forces Radio, followed by years of work in commercial radio, then as a national radio consultant.  In that capacity I was hired to help  The Christian Science Monitor  launch 'Monitor Radio'.

Saying “yes” to God makes life a grand adventure.  Learning about my relationship with God benefitted every area of my life, from health to relationships to employment and supply. During college, I wasn’t sure what career path to follow.

In high school I struggled with a painful disease that examining physicians said had no cure. Through Christian Science I was healed within two weeks.

When I was 21 I found myself in desperate straits. I was practically failing college, was addicted to drugs, in a bad marriage, alienated from any family and was on the verge of a serious mental breakdown. At that time, suicide seemed the only answer.

Growing up, Christian Science was my lifeline. I wasn't super tied in to church, but I had a concrete feeling there was a source I could turn to for comfort, inspiration, and direction: God.

Effective prayer is more than thinking good thoughts, or begging a far off God to intervene, it is a recognition of the transforming power of God’s law in our lives. Jesus provided strong examples of what prayer can do, and expected his followers for centuries to come to do the same.

I have always loved the Scriptures. Growing up in a Christian Science home, my family turned to the Bible daily for guidance, strength, and practical help.

While working in television in New York City, after college and studying/traveling in Europe and Africa, I was awakened to a keen desire to really know myself spiritually and to be more a part of Church’s healing mission. Primary class instruction transformed my life. Working for The Mother Church, in Boston, enhanced my appreciation of Church. Communing with God led me to obediently and faithfully begin publicly practicing Christian Science, and I have been gratefully healing others for over 35 years. My prayers led me to St.

I was raised in а family where loving God and relying on Him to heal all our problems was a way of life. It still is, for me.
