Project Management Internship

The Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) 

The Enterprise Project Management Office is looking for a project management intern.

The Mother Church has a talented group of Project Managers and Scrum Masters. We manage a wide variety of projects that serve the mission of The Mother Church. Together, we’ll introduce you to the skills needed to manage projects and teams. You’ll dive deep into the following topics:

Project Management Skills

  • Project Management Principles

  • Project Management software: Trello, Jira and Smartsheet.

  • What are the characteristics of a successful project manager and scrum master

  • The differences between Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall

  • How resource management complements project management

  • Enterprise project prioritization

  • Enterprise project portfolio management

  • Leadership skills

  • Business writing with brevity and impact

  • Maximizing Google Docs to enhance team productivity and collaboration

  • The business of The Mother Church

  • Shadow project managers

  • Serve as a project coordinator

Your contribution to The Mother Church

  • Understand the responsibilities of each department at The Mother Church

  • Explore the life of Mary Baker Eddy 

  • Understand how the Manual directs the work of all employees of The Mother Church

  • Explore the history of the Christian Science Plaza and its impact on the greater Boston community

  • Review the roles and responsibilities of all departments at The Mother Church

Program Dates: May 25 - August 7, 2025

Compensation: Interns receive a $400/week living stipend. They will also receive a $900 grant upon completion of the internship. These payments are taxable benefits.
