General Publications Research and Product Development Internship

Are you interested in business, product development, and management? Do you love Christian Science and want to support the books and pamphlets that will have a lasting impact on the movement? Are you curious, thoughtful, and good with details? If the answer is yes, this position offers the opportunity to be part of the team overseeing and developing many of the items sold in Reading Rooms.

About the department of General Publications

The General Publications department is responsible for developing all products sold in Reading Rooms, except Mary Baker Eddy’s writings and the periodicals. This includes biographies about Mary Baker Eddy, hymnals, music, pamphlets, anthologies, children’s products, Bible reference materials, and more.

Opportunities:

  • Participate in product development of the latest Christian Science Publishing Society (CSPS) products

  • Research historical CSPS products, supporting a greater understanding of all CSPS products ever sold

  • Analyze current offerings and identify opportunities

  • Assist with advertising and marketing initiatives

  • Assist with administrative work, organizing, and other activities essential to department workflow

Qualifications & Desired Qualities:

  • Commitment to Christian Science and interest in sharing its healing message

  • Progress towards a college degree (with demonstrated experience or interest in business, management, and/or history)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Should be organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy

Program Dates: May 25 - August 7, 2025

Compensation: Interns receive a $400/week living stipend. They will also receive a $900 grant upon completion of the internship. These payments are taxable benefits.
