The problems we face can seem to shatter our hopes and dreams. But Christian Science shows that understanding the Gospel of Jesus Christ is able to change the course of our lives for the better.

Chiemezi has always desired to understand how things work, often immersing himself in books in order to explore this desire.He encountered Christian Science as a teenager, through Sentinel radio– and audio program from the Christian Science Sentinel. At first, he didn't really understand it; but he felt there was something more to it that was worth exploring. He began to seriously study Christian Science many years later, applying that same desire to “understand how things work” he’d always felt.

Nicole found Christian Science during a very troubled and difficult time in her life. At her first encounter with Christian Science, she experienced healing from migraines, which was then followed by further healings in various areas of her life.At first she couldn't explain exactly what had caused these healings.

When finding solutions seems difficult, it’s often because we are having trouble knowing what matters. But the right kind of vision (hint: it's spiritual) allows us to discern what is actually important.

Circumstances often present what appear to be significant obstacles to living freely, something that everyone wants to do. Whatever it is that seems to stand between us and the full range of motion that we would like to have in our lives — it’s not so much the presenting impediment that is the problem — it’s not knowing how or where to access our God-given liberty.

When we feel overwhelmed by life’s problems, we may want to try to get more from the world. But when we do the opposite–give more of ourselves or focus on the God-given qualities we already have to express or contribute, we find that we end up not lacking anything.

Simple ideas, about God's nature and about our nature as expressions of God, stir something new in our consciousness. They work in us in ways that change our lives and our health for the better. But how do we find these healing ideas consistently? We’ll look at the teachings of Christ Jesus, our best and most practical example.

Bobby's calendar is full for the 2025-2026 lecture season.Bobby grew up in the mountains of Colorado in the US and has found inspiration in wild places all of his life. During some tough teen-age years, his mother (a Christian Science Practitioner), helped him begin to see himself as spiritually whole and loved by God right in the midst of those challenges.

What Janet loves about Christian Science is the way it answers pressing questions that come to all of us. Questions like: Who am I? Why am I here? How can I find health and happiness? These questions were uppermost in her thought as she entered college.
