Giulia Nesi Tetreau CSB

I always knew my career path was going to involve being of service to others, but had no idea it would be as a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science! My work in rural Appalachia during high school touched me so deeply I went on to get both an undergraduate and graduate degree in social work. I then worked for over 10 years as a psychotherapist in a variety of mental health settings.

James Shepherd, CS

God’s love is for everyone, and a Christian Science lecture is a perfect setting to learn about God’s love and the healing that it brings.James has seen the healing effects of God’s love since he was a youngster, romping through the woods around his home with his three brothers. They had their share of scrapes and bruises which were quickly healed through prayer.

How spiritual perception brings healing

How can we move away from fear, sickness, and strife into something better? Prayer, as it’s explained through the lens of Christian Science, is a tool for bringing a different viewpoint, and ultimately healing, to any situation. Prayer is getting beyond surface level judgements to a deeper sense of God’s nature—all-good, all-loving—defining all things.
