The living Truth that frees humanity

When we don’t feel freedom, whether our bodies feel constrained, or our thoughts seem out of control, is it because of some outside power or cause? Or is it that the forms of imprisonment we face are mental—the result of false beliefs, fears, and ignorance about God and God’s creation. Christian Science shows how an understanding of the mental nature of any challenge we face enables us to overcome, through God’s power, all forms of imprisonment, including fear, sickness, confusion, injustices, etc.

“Who am I really?”—Discovering your spiritual identity

Do you feel a gap between what you know yourself to be in your heart and what you appear to be on the outside? If identity is not a product of a physical body, then what is it, and where does it come from? Christian Science teaches that your identity comes from God, good, and is entirely spiritual. As you begin to understand this fact, it can have a positive effect on your life and well-being.

The incorruptible identity of man

“Say the truth and the devil will be ashamed.” This saying from James’s native Cameroon, when seen through the life of Jesus, can be interpreted to mean that your true identity is sinless and pure. You have nothing in common with the liar, with anything unlike your true God-given nature.

Miracles – redefined. Experience the divine in everyday life.

Are you open to considering a new perspective on miracles? In her lecture, Heike presents the viewpoint of Christian Science on what are commonly called miracles. A miracle does not change the natural order of things. It’s about seeing something more of the divine, ever-present reality—actually perceiving more tangibly the ever-present goodness of divine Love.

The key to effective prayer

Effective prayer is more than thinking good thoughts, or begging a far off God to intervene, it is a recognition of the transforming power of God’s law in our lives. Jesus provided strong examples of what prayer can do, and expected his followers for centuries to come to do the same.

The Science of Christianity: Divine Love in Action

Science and Christianity might seem to be incompatible, but in fact they underpinned the teachings and healing ministry of Christ Jesus. The Science of Christianity teaches us about God, Love, in a new way—a way that helps us more clearly understand the truth about ourselves and about God.
