Guidelines for Social Media and Personal Blogs

The following guidelines apply to all photos and short-form videos taken on Mapparium™ globe tours. 

If you are a social media influencer or blogger compensated by a third party, or a commercial news/media publisher/etc., the guidelines below apply to you and you must submit a Visit Request form.

If your use does not fall within the below limitations, or you would like to license one of our Mapparium globe photos to use instead, please fill out a Mapparium Image Request Form or contact the Exhibit Manager.

You may publish personal photos or short-form videos you have taken on your Mapparium tour with your caption or article about the Mapparium globe, as long as:

  • The images or short-form videos accompany text that is about the Mapparium globe as a place to visit in the How Do You See the World? experience.  

  • Your short-form videos do not feature the Mapparium globe light and sound presentation.

  • Your photos and short-form videos do not include the recognizable images of staff or other visitors.

  • You adhered to our Photography and Short-form Video Policy at the time you took the photos or short-form videos.

  • You do not sell, syndicate, or license your Mapparium photos or short-form videos to any third party (other than the necessary license relevant to the specific social or blog posting platform(s) you are posting on).

  • The Mapparium globe name, images, and trademarks are not used for branding or promoting products, services, or organizations, as trademarks or service marks for unrelated products or services, or on any kind of merchandise, including but not limited to t-shirts, posters, prints, or mugs.

  • You agree to abide by our legal and trademark information, noted below

  • You tag @christianscienceplaza in any post or reel on social media.

  • You choose to use the following hashtags (optional):  #christianscienceplaza #csplaza #howdoyouseetheworld #mapparium #mappariumglobe

  • Capitalize every word in the “How Do You See the World?™ experience” except “experience” and “the.” Use the lowercase “the” in front of “How Do You See the World?™ experience.”

    • How Do You See the World? is used as an adjective in every case and should be followed by the word “experience.”

    • Please include the “?” in the name.

  • Please include the trademark symbol with “How Do You See the World?™” on the first reference.

  • When explaining that the Mapparium globe is part of the How Do You See the World? experience, you could say: "Mapparium globe in the How Do You See the World? experience" or "How Do You See the World? experience with the Mapparium globe."

  • The Mapparium globe is not part of The Mary Baker Eddy Library. The Mapparium globe is part of the How Do You See the World? experience.

  • If you are writing about the Mapparium globe, use the word Mapparium as an adjective in every case.

  • You may follow it with any of the nouns below:

    • Mapparium™ globe”

    • Mapparium™ tour”

    • Mapparium™ experience’”

    • Mapparium™ exhibit’”

  • For social media: Please include the trademark symbol with “Mapparium™” on the first reference.
