Bill Warrick grew up in the Midwest — an area often called the heartland of America for its grounded values and straightforward people. As an adult, he moved to Northern California and enjoyed hiking, skiing, and exploring the mountains and lakes in his free time.
In 2017, Bill and his wife, Abigail, relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where Bill took on a senior leadership role and later served as vice principal at a leading academic secondary school. Bill has a love for education, particularly experiential learning. He has worked with students in traditional schools as well as in programs such as Outward Bound and juvenile detention facilities. He holds a master’s degree in education and has also completed a graduate program in positive education at the University of Melbourne.
Bill has had the privilege of working with Christian Science churches and societies on five continents. He also served as a Christian Science Institutional Chaplain in Northern California for more than a decade. He became a Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner in 2019. Bill is deeply grateful for his branch church, where he has served in roles such as First Reader, Sunday School Superintendent, and in the Melbourne Jointly-Maintained City Reading Room.
