Tim Myers graduated from Occidental College with a degree in English, served as an officer in the United States Army, and built and led his own construction business where he had the privilege of collaborating with award-winning architects on several notable structures in the Los Angeles area. After closing his business, Tim devoted himself to community service, including helping to build a local teen center, serving on its board, studying conflict resolution, and providing counseling for young people. He taught Sunday School at detention centers in Southern California and served on the chaplain’s staff at his alma mater, where he participated in interfaith dialogues and helped foster connections across communities of faith.

For more than thirty years, Tim has served as a Christian Science practitioner, offering prayer treatment and witnessing healings among friends, family, and others who have sought his support. His deep conviction in the power of God to heal shapes everything he does.

Tim’s lecture experience includes speaking to audiences across the United States — in prisons, homeless shelters, libraries, churches, and college campuses — bringing a message of healing, comfort, and freedom to everyone from prisoners and college students to interfaith gatherings and the general public.

God is Relevant

Love, expressed through loving God, our neighbor, and ourselves, is powerful. Tim Myers explores the question “is God still relevant?” using Jesus’ teachings and modern healings of injury, depression, and addiction. He shares how understanding the nature of God as Love leads to experiencing the very relevant impact of that understanding in our lives.
