Having been raised in Christian Science, I've long had a deep love for God and His unchanging divine laws. Studying Jesus' ministry and the scientific system of healing that he lived and that Mary Baker Eddy explains has always been balanced for me with an active life and lots of opportunities to live what I learn.

I grew up in Spain. My youth was very normal, with a focus on music.

At an early age I loved reading the Bible for its inspiring accounts of healing. I found it comforting, strengthening and thought-provoking.

Nicole found Christian Science during a very troubled and difficult time in her life. At her first encounter with Christian Science, she experienced healing from migraines, which was then followed by further healings in various areas of her life.At first she couldn't explain exactly what had caused these healings.

I am happy to have been raised in a Christian Science Sunday School, where I learned my relationship to God, our Father-Mother, was most important. I joined The Mother Church while a teenager and married at 19. Afterwards, my husband refused Christian Science in the home. Nine years later, I was faced with a frightening diagnosis but was healed overnight with the help of my mother’s prayerful support.

Christian Science has been the bedrock of my life since childhood. My mother was introduced to Christian Science before I was born and through her dedication to its teachings our family witnessed many healings. My spiritual education began with attendance at Sunday School and has continued through membership in branch churches. This membership has been an invaluable guide on my spiritual journey, as it has provided me with opportunities to learn and grow as a Christian Scientist.

In my early teens I devoted myself to God and a Christian way of life. My dad’s deep desire to understand God encouraged me to search for answers regardless of denomination, and this led me to Christian Science in my late twenties.

What an exhilarating experience to have the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy come alive through their spiritual meaning! I gained a glimpse of this as a student in the Christian Science Sunday School. Ever since, I have continued to participate in Sunday School whenever possible, either as teacher of all age levels or as superintendent.

My deep love for Christian Science healing began as a young teenager. My mother and grandmother were healed of chronic ailments, and I was permanently healed of migraine headaches by reading Mary Baker Eddy’s textbook,  Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

I grew up on a farm in Indiana and at age eight witnessed my mom healed instantaneously while talking to a practitioner on the phone. I knew then I wanted to be a Christian Science practitioner.
