The Bible is at the heart of Christian Science practice. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy, explores the underlying spiritual law in biblical healing and reformation and how it is applicable to all human needs. Together the Bible and Science and Health are the textbooks used by branches of the Church of Christ, Scientist around the world, which affirms as one of its core tenets: “As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life.”

You’re warmly invited to attend Sunday services at any branch or society of the Church of Christ, Scientist, around the world, where you’ll hear music, singing, scriptural readings, prayer, and a sermon. The sermon is based on a weekly Bible lesson from our Pastor: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Everyone is welcome at The Mother Church, the world headquarters of the Church of Christ, Scientist, and the Christian Science Publishing Society. Tour the church, visit the Mary Baker Eddy Library and public Reading Room, attend a Sunday or Wednesday church service, bring your children and teens to the Sunday School, and enjoy the beautiful Christian Science Plaza in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
