Online Sunday School

Online Christian Science Sunday School

Online Sunday School is much like a branch church Sunday School class. It is provided for students who do not live near a branch church. Students join an online class via video conference from a computer, tablet, or phone. All Sunday School classes are live sessions, not pre-recorded, and invite active participation.

Students up to the age of 20. Pupils are grouped in small classes by age.

It begins with a hymn. Then the class reads the Golden Text and Responsive Reading from that week’s Bible Lesson, followed by a few moments of silent prayer, and then the Lord’s Prayer. Then it is class time! Class discussions focus on the Bible, and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The teaching highlights the timeless truths of the Bible and their relevance in everyday life.

Online Sunday School classes meet via live video conference. Most classes start at 10 am Boston time, and last for one hour. A few classes meet at other times to accommodate students in different times zones. Classes are available in English and Spanish, and requests for classes in other languages can be considered.
