Human Resources Internship

The HR intern will have the opportunity to support a variety of projects and assignments, receive mentoring from HR team members, and network with other TMC summer interns. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic intern to participate within The Mother Church's Human Resources department and learn how an international non-profit organization recruits, supports and develops employees.Opportunities include:

  • Learn how the human resources team supports “... the wide channels of The Mother Church ...”  and gain experience assisting with a variety of projects such as helping to evaluate, update, and document operational processes; identifying opportunities to increase employee engagement; and supporting staffing and development (Manual, p. 45:1–2). 

  • The HR intern will have opportunities to learn from an experienced HR team, contribute their own ideas, and participate actively in departmental meetings.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Think and act in a broad collaborative style. Care deeply about the mission of The Mother Church and the healing impact the entire organization has on the world.

  • Strong written/verbal communication, critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills. 

  • Strict adherence to confidentiality. 

  • Proficient in Google applications like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
