My background is relatively humble, but I was fortunate to attend very good schools. I earned a degree in Management Studies, completed a law degree, and was called to the Nigerian Bar. I worked in various administrative positions and practiced law for some years.
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy references “honest seekers for Truth” as those who find, understand and practice the Science of Christ. Faced with life’s challenges, I needed answers to many questions. Someone had dropped off a copy of Science and Health for a mutual boss and I was impelled to investigate its contents. I found the book was a page-turner and the wonderful ideas in it transformed my life.
Making Christian Science my own came naturally with the deep study of its textbook. I had been unclear about God, religion and the concept of Christian healing. Science and Health answered many probing questions and several personal and other healings followed.
Heeding the behest of God, I left my growing law practice and devoted my life to the public healing practice. I became an advocate for God and dedicated my life to helping others find spiritual solutions through scientific prayers.
It remains clear that my life’s purpose is to share what I learn from my study and demonstration of Christian Science. From this I get the most fulfillment and satisfaction. Teaching unfolded as the next progressive step for me, and I took Normal class in 2006.
