As I was born and brought up in a Hindu family in Northern India, I was totally unaware of Christian Science till someone gifted me a copy of Science and Health with key to the Scriptures in 1975. Understanding the effectiveness of scientific prayer I was impelled to form a group of Christian Scientists that became a Society recognized by The Mother Church in 1983.

Remember — it’s about collaboration, not competition

“Whenever the heart speaks, however simple the words, the language is always acceptable to those who have hearts.” Religious communities on campus are founded on a basis of community and love for God and that is something we share with other Christian groups. As a result, the natural state of ecumenical interactions must be one of harmony and brotherhood.
