Annual Meeting FAQs

Annual Meeting 2022

How Do You See the World? is a new experience on the first floor of the Christian Science Publishing House that complements this year’s Annual Meeting theme. You are invited to consider this question with us as you explore the exhibits and attend this year’s meeting.

The interactive experience features compelling stories about global progress—how individuals worldwide have overcome challenges and found hope. The space also reveals how you can broaden your loving embrace of humanity through an expanded understanding of the Science of the Christ. Visiting is an enriching and uplifting experience that can support your prayers for the movement and the world.

We also encourage you to watch this special video from the Christian Science Board of Directors. They’ll walk you through each exhibit, discussing the connection between How Do You See the World? and this year’s Annual Meeting theme.

Here’s what you’ll find at How Do You See the World?

  • Step into the world before World War II with a new audio and light show in the three-story Mapparium stained-glass globe.

  • Look deeper into humanity’s advancement since 1935 in the “Our World: Mapping Progress” exhibit–sharing examples of hope and progress from the pages of The Christian Science Monitor.

  • Discover the stories of individuals around the world who have made a difference in their communities in “Faces of Change.”

  • Ask yourself: “How can I reliably apply the ideas in the Bible to my life today? What truths in its pages hold implications for how I see the world and others?” and find answers in the exhibit “Christian Science and Mary Baker Eddy.”

  • Explore the life, ideas, and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy with a virtual exhibit from the collections of The Mary Baker Eddy Library.

How I can share information about Annual Meeting

We’d love for you to send friends information about the meeting or invite them to join you to view the meeting together. A branch church or society may choose to share information in a newsletter to members, post information on bulletin boards, mention the event at meetings, host a gathering for members and friends to view the meeting together, mention it in desk announcements, put information about it in the Reading Room, and let members who don't have computers know where they can see the webcast.

Can I listen by telephone?

While we hope people will be able to see the video of the live webcast, we understand that there are a few cases where that isn't possible. You can listen to the live webcast of Annual Meeting by calling 1-646-558-8656, access code: 969 9392 8161#

Please note that this option is available only in English. There will not be any replays via phone. Phone charges, if any, are the responsibility of the caller.

Can I watch Annual Meeting on my smart TV?

Yes, you can access the Annual Meeting live stream through the YouTube app on a smart TV. The way in which YouTube's search results display is beyond our control, but we recommend searching for something like "Christian Science Annual Meeting 2022". You can also "subscribe" to the YouTube channel "Christian Science" ahead of Annual Meeting weekend in order to find the live stream videos more easily.

Where can I find Annual Meeting replays and published reports?

The replay of Annual Meeting in English will be available within 24 hours. The download will be available about a week later. A replay of the meeting in French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish will be posted online by June 15.

You can replay the Annual Meeting video webcast or download it to your computer or mobile device for one year after the event. (The Annual Meeting videos are only available for one year due to copyright restrictions.)
