Annual Meeting 2022

Monday, June 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. ET — in-person and online

Check back often — this page will be updated regularly.

This year's theme:

One infinite God, good, unifies men and nations; constitutes the brotherhood of man; ends wars; fulfils the Scripture, “Love thy neighbor as thyself;” annihilates pagan and Christian idolatry, — whatever is wrong in social, civil, criminal, political, and religious codes; equalizes the sexes; annuls the curse on man, and leaves nothing that can sin, suffer, be punished or destroyed.

— Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 340

How Do You See the World? is a new experience on the first floor of the Christian Science Publishing House that complements this year’s Annual Meeting theme. You are invited to consider this question with us as you explore the exhibits and attend this year’s meeting.

The interactive experience features compelling stories about global progress—how individuals worldwide have overcome challenges and found hope. The space also reveals how you can broaden your loving embrace of humanity through an expanded understanding of the Science of the Christ. Visiting is an enriching and uplifting experience that can support your prayers for the movement and the world.

We also encourage you to watch this special video from the Christian Science Board of Directors. They’ll walk you through each exhibit, discussing the connection between How Do You See the World? and this year’s Annual Meeting theme.

Here’s what you’ll find at How Do You See the World?

  • Step into the world before World War II with a new audio and light show in the three-story Mapparium stained-glass globe.

  • Look deeper into humanity’s advancement since 1935 in the “Our World: Mapping Progress” exhibit–sharing examples of hope and progress from the pages of The Christian Science Monitor.

  • Discover the stories of individuals around the world who have made a difference in their communities in “Faces of Change.”

  • Ask yourself: “How can I reliably apply the ideas in the Bible to my life today? What truths in its pages hold implications for how I see the world and others?” and find answers in the exhibit “Christian Science and Mary Baker Eddy.”

  • Explore the life, ideas, and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy with a virtual exhibit from the collections of The Mary Baker Eddy Library.
