Placing Orders

1. There are three ways to place orders:

  • Online: Wholesale Shop

  • Phone: 1-800-877-8400 (US and Canada) or 001- 515-362-7463 (outside US and Canada) 
  • When ordering by phone or e-mail, be sure to include account number, product number, and billing information.

3.  Delivery times for in-stock items:  

  • US delivery: up to 3 weeks
  • Canada: up to 4 weeks
  • International shipments: up to 6 weeks
  • Damaged items: alert our customer service department via phone or email if you received a damaged order. 

4.  Ordering Bibles in languages other than English

Reading Rooms may order Bibles in languages other than English from their local Bible Societies. This applies to Bibles authorized by The Christian Science Publishing Society and referenced in the translated editions of the Christian Science Quarterly

Pricing and Shipping

 1.  Pricing - see the Product List 

  • Prices are not guaranteed, are subject to change without notice, and supersede prices in all previous catalogs and advertisements.
  • Shipping and handling will now be shown as a one line item on monthly invoices.

2.  United States Reading Rooms

  • Handling charge:
    There is a US$5.00 handling charge on every order including special orders of periodicals. This charge will be included with your shipping cost on your invoice. Regular standing orders for periodicals do not incur a handling charge.
  • Shipping charge:
    Shipping charges are changing and are no longer based on 10-pound increments.

3.  Periodicals

There are no shipping or handling charges on continuity (standing) periodical orders. Shipping and handling is charged on shipments of extra copies of periodicals.

4.  Outside the U.S  duties and taxes

Please refer to local laws to determine your obligation to pay or charge.

5.  Credit privileges are extended to Christian Science Reading Rooms worldwide 

  • The Mother Church extends credit to order products without prepayment.
  • Reading Rooms receive a monthly billing invoice (statement) detailing their purchases.
  • Payment instructions are on the statement. 
  • No interest fees are charged on these accounts. 
  • However, credit purchase privileges will be suspended for accounts that become 120 days past due. 
  • Orders can always be prepaid using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.                         

6.  Invoices

Monthly invoicing occurs the Monday after the 20th of each month. If your monthly invoice is dated April 26, it will reflect all billed activity from the date of your last monthly invoice to this date.

Using the Wholesale Shop

(NOTE: Orders to Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Eastern Europe, or the Middle East must be placed by contacting Orders@csps.com.)

1.  Placing an order in the Wholesale Shop

  • Use the navigation across the top, or the search box on the left side to find products.
  • The Wholesale Shop includes both products and promotional materials.
  • If you click on the product image or title, you will find more information on that product.
  • Most promotional materials are  available for “download only” at no charge, but you will need to put them into your cart and go through the check-out process to download the items.
  • Enter the quantity of the product you would like to order in the box provided (the default value is one) and click "add to cart."
  • When you’ve finished adding products to your cart click “Checkout” on the left side of the screen.
  • Verify your order and click “Checkout."
  • Verify your billing address and click “Next” (Reading Rooms outside the US and Canada will need to call 001- 515-362-7463 or email  csrrcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com to make changes to their billing address).
  • Verify your shipping address and click “Next."
  • Enter your payment information. If you would like to choose the “Bill me later” option, you can find it at the bottom of the “Payment type” drop-down (the default for this field is Mastercard, “Bill me later” is under the list of credit cards). Click “Submit.”
  • You should receive a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours at the e-mail address associated with your account. 

2.  How can I view previous orders online?

Previous orders can be viewed in the Customer Care section of the Wholesale Shop. You can access this area by selecting “Customer Care” in the top right corner of the Wholesale Shop.

To view previous orders, select “View History.” It may take up to 48 hours for an order to post in your order history.

3.  What is Customer Care and where can I find it?

Customer Care can be found in the top right corner of the Wholesale Shop.  Customer Care is the area of the Wholesale Shop where you can:

  • View previous orders
  • Make a payment
  • Change your billing address (Reading Rooms outside the US and Canada, see further information below)
  • Change your e-mail address
  • Ask questions of a customer service representative

4.  How do I enter our overseas country and postal code when checking out?

For billing addresses outside of the US and Canada, please call 001-515- 362-7463 or e-mail CSRRCustServ@cdsfulfillment.com to request a billing address change. You will only need to do this once.

5.  Do I have to pay for my order by credit card?

No, the “Bill me later” option can be found at the bottom of the “Payment type” drop-down. (The default for this field is Mastercard, “Bill me later” is under the list of credit cards when checking out.)

6.  Having trouble with the Wholesale Shop?

If you have any sort of functional or technical issue with the Wholesale Shop, please clear your cache and cookies. If this does not resolve the problem, contact us via one of the methods listed below.

  • If you have a question about the shop, see the discussion boards in this space by clicking the discussions tab at the top of the page. If you do not find an answer among the postings already here, please feel free to post your question.
  • If you would like to report a technical issue with the webcart, please email sales@csps.com with the following information: 
    • Reading Room or church name (1st, Society, etc.)
    • account number
    • browser name and version (e.g., Firefox 3.0, Internet Explorer 7, etc.)
    • operating system (e.g., OS X.1, Windows 95, etc.)
    • the nature of the problem, as well as any error messages you get.
  • If you encounter an issue specific to your account please write to sales@csps.com and include your Reading Room account number and the nature of the issue.
  • If you have an issue with your order please write to csrrcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com or call 1-800-877-8400 (US/Canada) or 001-515-362-7463 (outside of the US).

 1.  Returns? Satisfaction guaranteed!

  • A full refund or credit will be given on all products returned in salable condition within 90 days.  
  • Periodicals cannot be returned.  
  • Returns must be packaged to prevent damage and shipped at the Reading Room’s expense.

2.  How do I edit my shipping and billing addresses in the Wholesale Shopping Cart? 
At this time, it is not possible to properly change your billing address online if you are outside the US or Canada. Please call or email to request a billing address change. You will only need to do this once.

3.  Delivery time for in-stock items
Allow up to 6 weeks for international shipments. Alert our customer service department by phone or email if you received a damaged order. 

4.  Ordering Bibles in languages other than English
