I am two hours east of GMT. I feel all alone in these forums. We need more participants on this side of the world (Europe and Africa) so there's somebody I can talk to and get responses in less than 12 hours

Awesome, so we must have most of the continents covered here in the forums? Courtenay from Australia, JazzRascal from Brazil ... is there anyone from Asia here?

I am right on the time zone. Will I do? The 'deliniator' is inscribed in brass at ground level about ten miles from where I live. As a boy it was fun to stand astride this marker and be in two time zones at once! Fun.

Hello Multinational Friends,

There's not anyone else here from GMT +10, is there? Or anyone from Australia's other two time zones??

Love, Courtenay (the Aussie) :D

Hi Peter,
Wish I could say I'm from Brazil... :D
I lived there for nearly a decade, but now I'm back in the USA. We've got a forum started in Portuguese over on TMCYouth, however, and forums in different languages will probably start up here at some point, too, I would think. I hope so, anyway.

Hi Courtenay,
I too am an Aussie. Just registered and this is my first post. Looking forward to having many interesting discussions.

I'm usually awake well past midnight on the California coast when most people on my side of the world are asleep. Does that count? Right now its 9:30AM GMT. :p

I think the issue isn't so much participants as moderators. Our moderators do a wonderful job, but the patterns of the appearance of approved posts seems to indicate that they are in the Eastern Time Zone (nothing seems to go up between 9am and 10am here in California, which is the lunch hour on the other coast). Also, posts don't seem to appear after 7pm or 8pm my time but are often up when I awake in the morning.

I would love to see a couple more moderators added in very different time zones, but they would need to have a good grasp of the approval criteria and demonstrate consistency with the standards as applied by our moderators. I think it goes without saying that they should be class-instructed Christian Scientists. I couldn't do it. I frequently have posts rejected and have to soften my language.

Regards.
