Other CS-related websites

There are other sites on the web that are related to Christian Science. Will you offer links to them, or do you link only church-maintained sites? How do I know if another site is considered "acceptable" by the church?

I had wondered about similar things. I noticed the right hand column had google-like ad slots which currently contain ads/links for the Newspaper and other publications.

It does seem plausible these will eventually be open for things the community might be interested in.

We only offer links to sites hosted by The Mother Church and The Christian Science Publishing Society. You can find those under “Related Sites” on the left side of the home page.

There is not a plan to rate other site and will leave it up to individuals to decide whether a site is of use to them.

I believe you are referring to something which shows up on the page when you are reading and article. These right hand column “quick links” (google-like ads) are currently only there to provide ready access to the periodicals from which the article originated and all point to church or Publishing Society sites.

The Wikipedia article on Christian Science (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Science) provides a variety of links to other Christian Science-related sites.

Beliefnet.com has sections for every religious and spiritual teaching you've ever heard of and then some, including Christian Science. They also link back to toe official CS websites. Beliefnet also has extensive discussion forums, and has a CS topic there, too. However, I find their CS forum isn't particularly active.
