It's one thing to know what Christian Science is, and what benefits might be. But past that, a big question that occurs to me is: How do you integrate Christian Science into your life? I guess it's what I would call the daily practice of it. What are the actual things you do? Is it setting aside a regular time or just "in the moment" sometimes? And where does church fit into it?

There is a great article about praying without ceasing, which was published in the CS Monitor of 31st October 1925. I saw it also shortly somewhere else, but I can't remember where exactly.
I guess living the beatitudes would be a way to let CS enter our daily life. Sure to set some prayer breaks (as I heard once from a CS teacher) is a good way to come back to more spirituality, to close the door to aggresive thoughts and be receptive to Love.
Church is where all this come together and where as a community we can share those moments.

Well, I love the message from Paul in the Bible
"Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trusts to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's."
Integrating Christian Science into your life, is for me, recognizing that your very being is Christ's. Which is to say that your thoughts, your desires, your way of being, every part of you is able to act Christly. What grace to live moment by moment witnessing the Christ. I've found that through my study of Christian Science, I see others as good and pure.
And, it in no way limits our ability to live like the Christ - with authority over every material malady.
This takes prayer, knowing the scriptures, study of the Christian Science textbook and a joyful expectation of good --- moment by moment.

How does one integrate Christian Science into one's daily life? Thats my favorite topic!
The most important question for me is: how can i better use CS moment by moment, day by day? Sure, its great to have a healing. They are nice affirmations that this is a science. And study and prayer are inspiring. But to take what i'm learning into life's activities is whats most inspiring. When i'm awake to it, CS invigorates and enriches all my activities.
I love to hike and ski and get into the outdoors. When i'm on a trip and rememember that I'm a totally spiritual idea, and so is all around me, the scenery and people become more vivid and bright. Everything becomes more alive. When I remember that there's a law of complete beauty, grace, and goodness all around, and try to discover this more around me, it doesnt put me into some sort of trance or anything. The scenery and people--if there are any-- and the activity actually become more important because i'm sensing a little of the true substance of whats really there.
This same mindset--knowing that all of God's goodness is right with me/us right here and now--also helps in what might be considered the more mundane activities in life. It makes trips to the store more enjoyable when i remember to cherish that checkout clerk as the son or daughter of God. To look deeply into someone's eyes that I may never see again and just affirm their royalty and divinity-- now that makes for a fulfilling trip to the store!
Studying CS hasnt made me feel like I have to give up the activities that I enjoy. Rather it allows me to put more thought into the activities and get much more satisfaction and enjoyment out of them.

I'm new and don't know how to Post normally, so here's my first attempt. (If anyone would like to give me some guidance, I'd appreciate it!)
Two weeks ago I had my annual physical from my local Internist (I am
not completely reliant on CS yet). He diagnosed me as definitely
having the onset of Type II Diabetes. He was certain, so he called me
back today for more blood tests, etc. I, of course, went right to work
with CS mental therapy after the first visit, sure that I could "beat
this" diagnoses. Marvel of marvels! Today I saw him again and my
blood test was completely NORMAL with no signs of diabetes! I praise
and thank God and the Christ for this healing!

"S&H" 312:14-17, 20
People go into ecstasies over the sense of a corporeal Jehovah,
though with scarcely a spark of love in their hearts; yet God is
Love, and without Love, God, immortality cannot appear. Mortals
believe in a finite personal God; while God is infinite Love, which
must be unlimited.
I had come to a real misunderstanding, perhaps even a hatred, for the
God of the Bible because I became obsessed with the incongruities of
the Old Testament "picture" of Jehovah, especially in Deuteronomy
through Judges. He seemed to be a genocidal maniac, and I could make
no sense of such things as the stories of Abraham and Lot, etc. I
had "taken the plunge" into modern philosophies, particularly
Nietzsche, Dostoevsky, Kierkegard, and Sartre-----------------------
so-called "Existentialism" and atheism. But, as I studied the daily
Bible Lessons, I began to see that I was not "rightly dividing" the
Word of Truth. I slowly began to see that those hard sayings of the
Old Testament had to be coupled with our Textbook and our Pastor, and
then the God (Elohim) of Love began to show Himself. My atheism
melted away and my "existentialism" self-destructed as the
nothingness and error it is. I had a real awakening! Mrs. Eddy was
wise beyond all we can know about her in devising the Textbook and
the Bible Lessons so that the God who is Love comes to the fore and
the tribal Jehovah has been relegated to mortal mind (as I understand
it).

keep on trying!
Desiring it will open up the right ways for u. I found it difficult because it can be a bit of a shock to the system! I think spiritually u totally get it and then its applying it to the human situation which is difficult, people see u change or somthing and wonder what ur up to.. I think be true to yourself.. use CS where u need to and when.. Perhaps set aside some time to study and then go and practice it in the world through living and applying what u have studied.. I am finding spiritual and practical progress happens now..
Also consider it to be normal, it really is. I thought every word is sacred and was really serious about it when I started.. I still am serious about it but more relaxed.. it is sacred, and sacred is natural, not something difficult or different. you don't have to over-do it. Give yourself space to figure it out. Also you could explain it simply to anyone who is curious to what ur doing.

:p I love to discover something new about God, Love every day! I feel this is the way I integrate CS into my life. I put into practice what I learn about God. For example, today I was thinking about purpose. I was studying the Christian Science Bible Lesson and it mentioned the word "shine" - so I looked that up in the dictionary and it said "to be light or to give light". I thought that was so cool! And I tried to apply that in my life today - to be light - to give light.
And I got an opportunity to put this into practice in a small but significant way. My rabbit (bunny) chewed through my laptop power adaptor - electrical wires! And all of a sudden my laptop that I use for my work crashed. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to "stay in the light" and not get discouraged! To know that (even if it meant I had to get a new laptop) - that there would be a solution here. So I hung onto that - I certainly couldn't see that I could afford a new laptop but I just refused to give into that "darkness" (fear) and to stay in the light. I took the laptop to the computer shop and they told me it was just the lead that needed replacing and it was going to cost $90 - I didn't really have a spare $90 - but I thought "I'm just going to trust that God will provide everything I need."
I love in Science and Health that Mary Baker Eddy talk about God as the divine Mind "to whom each need of man is always known and by whom it will be supplied." (page 7, line 24)So, although I didn't have that much money in the bank I decided to just buy it because I needed it and felt as though Love, God, would work it out. On the way home, I got an idea to ring a business that deals with freelance work that I do for a living and they said that it was very timely that I just rang because they'd been just thinking of me and offered me some additional work, and on top of that, tonight, a friend called and asked could I teach one of her classes for her - so that's the laptop expense taken care of! To me, this was an example of practicing what I'd learnt this morning - to stay in the light - if I had given in to discouragement and fear, then I'm quite sure I wouldn't have been quiet enough to listen to that idea of contacting the business.
So I LOVE to start each day with the Christian Science Bible Lesson and look for something new that it's telling me about God and then try to practice that during the day.
