Hi all,

I don't know if this is an appropriate forum, but I'm needing some help and guidance about praying for "right outcome" in the upcoming election. The last few weeks have shown me negative, destructive attacks and I am now feeling a great deal of fear surrounding the outcome.

I'm hoping for ideas about how others handle this and would love to hear about how to see the highest and greatest good for all concerned.

Bless you for your thoughts.

My Christian Science teacher (CSB) often stressed the idea of of praying for the office of President, or other elected officials. I find that helps me lift my prayers above ins and outs of politics.

I have found that in thinking about the election process, it helps me realize that the only thing I can elect to do or see is that God is the only government. His way is always right.

How do we see this? By realizing that each of God's ideas are connected to each other by the One Mind -- God. As such, each individual (God's idea) is able to hear, understand, and follow God's direction. If what seems to be an error occurs, God is able to give us the right idea to correct the error and move forward.

As previously stated, we should pray for the Office of President, Vice president, etc., and keep our thoughts on God's Law. I am always helped by re-reading "God's Law of Adjustment", by Adam h. Dickey. This treasure is so helpful on many levels.
