Marie Curie discovered radium between 1902-04, after Mary Baker Eddy had written Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures. Radium is proven to be an active matter. How do we reconcile that scientifically proven fact with the statement of being: "There is no life, truth, intelligence, or substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all."

We reconcile it by recognizing that matter is the product of our thought about it, and behaves according to the characteristics we attribute to it. Matter does not exist outside of us.

Madame Curie's experiments were very early explorations into the nature of matter, and can hardly be considered the final word, even from the point of view of physical science. A lot of knowledge has been gained since that time. Relativity and quantum physics resulted in major changes in perspective, and physicists no longer consider matter to be the solid, objective stuff of 19th Century physics. Some physicists, such as Amit Goswami (http://www.dramitgoswami.com/)at the University of Oregon, are openly arguing that conscious creates matter, not the other way around. They're just starting to catch up to Mary Baker Eddy!

Thank you, Jim, the information on the link looks fascinating. I believe...but it would be better if I understood. I shall continue to expect unfoldment. Thank you for your reply.
