I cannot get over how much I appreciate having this “lift” each day. I have loved every one and look forward to more each day!!
21. Jackson from Brazil says:
Thanks Fujico! That wonderful idea for overcoming the false imposition named depression, because the intent of this wrong belief is try to delude that the day will be gray - without perspectives - but the correct idea expressed in your message, that divine presence and the man as an espiritual ideia, expressed in each new day, changes this false notion - where all good is ever possible!
Our human eyes can’t see the spectrum of colors in the white color, but the beauty of this spectrum multicolor ever exists, is invisible to limited manner to see. This is the relevance of Christian Science that opens the eyes to see the spiritual realities ever presente…
Realy we can basking in this spiritual fact in a beautiful and multicolor day!
22. Joan says:

24. June Mary says:
Thank you, Fujiko, for revealing more of the Light we can walk in, rejoicing as we go! Beams of Love everywhere!
25. Pat from Blue Ridge Mtns says:
That thought of comparing the ever presence of God to the reliability of the sun is good.
So many times I have been helped by realizing that the “sunlight of Truth”, invigorates and purifies. It has been like a focused healing thought reflecting the experience I had when I was a young boy. I used a magnifying glass to focus the sun on a small scrap of paper and saw the power of the sun as the paper caught on fire.. My school teacher was a little upset since it happened in school where I was sitting by the windows!! Naughty Boy!!! But… it became a terrific example of focusing… Now I can see that sunlight of Truth, the focus of God, Truth, burning away erroneous beliefs and matter based thoughts.
Wonderful message this morning. Thanks Fujiko!!!
26. Mary H says:
How wonderful to be remined that God’s light is always with us Love is ever present.

29. Barbara- Tempe AZ says:
I love to consider that the sun shines on all the flowers AND the weeds without opinion or exclusion…
30. Betty Jean says:
Thanks Fujiko fr this wonderful reminder that God’s goodness is here and now and is forever shining His/Her love on us now and forever!
31. Frances Brown says:
To JP#3: Far from it, JP. God is not a physical presence, but a power, the presence of Love and light, embracing all and everything and everyone in His creation. This is a tangible presence for everyone as we turn to Him with rejoicing and thanksgiving. Thank you Fujiko Signs!
32. Molly says:
How timely this is with the lesson, Soul and Body. I love the concept that the sun has never stopped shining and we thoroughly trust that despite physical evidence that leaden skies hide the sun, the sun is still shining. Knowing that I must never take for granted that God is shining; that I am basking in that infinite Love. Thank you, thank you.
33. Deb says:
A beautiful thought, and beautifully expressed! Thank you.
34. Frances Graff-Welch says:
Thank you Fujiko for your warm and loving thoughts.
I love to see how the rays that reflect off the Sun are always connected to the sun, never any seperation, and that is how I see us in our relationship with God. Always reflecting Spirit, because that is what we are. Always in Spirit reflecting good, God.
35. Margaret, Sunshine Coast, Australia says:
JP #3 keep on asking, and you will always receive answers, and one of the answers will switch on your light, your understanding and you will be enlightened. And then others will ask you questions and you will be able to give them answers!
36. Neil Walker says:
Arigato!!!
37. rrh says:
Many thanks for the Daily Lift which is always helpful during a busy work day…or even during a not-so-busy work day now and then
38. Kathy says:
Thank you, Fujiko! A quick thought for the question raised by JP in #3 - why praise and worship God, when we don’t worship the sun? I used to wonder why I needed to love God (which, to me is the essence of praise and worship) - surely, God didn’t need my love. My answer came when I saw how natural it is for a child to love his parent in RESPONSE to his parent’s love for him. We love - we praise and worship - because that’s what we’ve been made to do. I think it’s important to realize that the sun is a SYMBOL of Soul - of God’s constant presence and source of good. To feel the effect of the sun’s warmth, we put ourselves in the presence of the sun. To feel God’s care for us, we put our thought in line with God - in other words, we praise and worship Him. The question raised by JP is an interesting one - worth considering. The ideas I’ve shared represent just ONE way to think about it. I just know that, as Fujiko said, I want to be careful not to take God for granted. Gratitude opens the way to experience God’s blessings.
39. Carla says:
Thank you for the beautiful reminder that we are all governed by the divine Spirit that shines in our thought! I could not imagine being without the knowledge of that blessing to meet every need! This provides such a wonderful comfort to know that whatever our issue, we can turn to reflect the light of God and the good will shine forth in our experience, completely obliterating anything not of God. Wow! What a great thought you have shared today! I am going to treasure the light of God shining in me all day! Thank you!
40. Sylvia from Boston says:
Thank you so much for letting the sun shine through your inspiring daily lift.
41. Katie in Stow OH says:
God is light, and in him is no darkness AT ALL! - 1 John 1:5
There is just light; darkness/gloom/chaos/lack has no source and no existence. i can only know light, because it is the ONLY!
Thank you Fujiko.
42. Phyllis says:
I am never in the dark. I am always in the light. Thank you Fujiko!
43. Stephen Pierce says:
Thank for your message. The Sun is the star at the centre of the Solar System and “God is at once the centre and the circumference of being” #3
“We worship God in spirit and in true.” We do not worship or compare God with methaphors, stars, planets, rivers, personalities, titles, things and places. #3 Thank you for your spiritual sense of alertness..
44. Karen, Santa Fe, NM says:
All so true, and good reminders. Thank you.
My house is passive solar adobe so I live in constant awareness of the sun’s power and presence, year ’round. All the consistent qualities that are expressed by the sun are depended upon for natural light and heat. I love the symbolism of the sun, for it surely points us to the power and presence of God with us always, — whether we know it or see it or believe it or not! It is always there for us all.
45. Kris from WA state says:

the cheery introduction (Nate, your voice is JOY-expressed!)

A patient asked the practitioner, how can I commune with God? Prac: Just tell him you love him. Silence, but what did he say? He said I love you too. Silence, Patient: But why? God: Because I created you. So simple, just like the sun shines on each and every one. I

This fits perfectly with a famous African song that, in successive stanzas, repeats, “I am [walking/praying/singing] in the light of God!” Ain’t it the TRUTH! Many thanks, Fujiko!
57. Colleen says:
This idea warms my soul…thank you. I’m basking in the sun on this cloudy overcast day! I just glanced outside and can see a sun break. Great!

59. Heidi S says:
these are always great Lifts. So grateful.
60. Jennifer says:
Thanks for the helpful idea Fujiko.
In the chapter entitled Prayer in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures Mary Baker Eddy writes, “One of the forms of worship in Tibet is to carry a praying-machine through the streets, and stop at the doors to earn a penny by grinding out a prayer.” Isn’t it something each of us has to be careful not to “grind out a prayer”, but to let God guide us in how to pray?
Have a happy day.
61. Chris Snow says:
Thanks for the helpful insight. It goes perfectly with the definition of Sun in this week’s Bible Lesson from Science and Health. I love the idea that “basking” brings of all of us being totally enveloped by Divine Love. We can’t be separated from Good.
62. John says:
When I was a kid, one of my sunday school teachers expressed a similar idea, utilizing the light fixture in the sunday school class room, as the sun.
He said God is like the sun, and we’re the sun’s rays. Only thing I didn’t like is that he had us look up at the light fixture.
63. Maria Elvira - Brasil says:
Great! Thank you, Fujiko!
How comforting is to realize that God will never stop shinning His love on me, ever !!!
And that´s why I always take God for granted even when, apparently, I´m not able to see the “light at the end of a tunnel”.
64. Sandra C of GA says:
Thank you Fujiko. I hope #3 reads all of the wonderful comments that follow his question. Different concepts to help us understand the awesome presence and omnipotence of our creator, open a door of light to uplift their thought This one today is one of those. Thank you again.
65. Peggy A. says:
I love thinking of the continuity and light of God’s love for each of us today and everyday ….. and that we should not take it for granted…thanks so much !
66. Jacqueline says:
To all those who commented on #3’s question which certainly made one think. My suggestion is to look in the glossary of Science and Health and see what Mrs Eddy says about the sun.
67. bjejj says:

72. Rebecca says:
Mrs Eddy says “Sun: The symbol of Soul governing man– of Truth, Life and Love. ”
I was just rereading the Journal about God as Soul. I finally felt a deep deep deep sense of inner peace. How beautiful to finally reach the depth of God/Good that is complete and whole, balancing the uplifting joy and rejoicing. “The calm and exhaulted thought.”
This has brought balance to my life which seemed to have so many ups and downs. My experience in this world is no longer full of bi-polar dis-eases/ manic-depressive dis-orders. Instead I feel whole, complete, and happy and balanced. Thanks for these spiritual ideas. Never outside of God/Good.
Thank you so much
73. Anonymous says:
Thank you, Fujiko Chan, the sun was a wonderful metaphor and MBE compared its presence with Love itself. Sorry that Natural Sciences are not accepting its presence as eternal. Without the sun, we wouldn’t be here, without God we wouldn’t be here.

Thank you, Fujiko and thank you Kathy #38 for expressing my reponse also. The sun is only symbolic of God’s love for us. Our being is not dependent on the physical sun that we enjoy so much.
76. Linda from Florida says:
Thank you Fujiko,
As it says in this weeks lesson, “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Our worship isn’t a matter of bowing down, but of living love, forgiveness, generosity in our daily lives, thus conforming to Christ.

88. Didier Ngoyi Ngoho, Brazzaville - Congo says:
Thanks a lot Fujiko for that image of the gentle sunlight of God’s love! As my day starts this morning, I really am reminded how I’m basking in God’s light wherever I am, no matter what. And the Congo is in God’s light too - I like thinking that way: that the whole of Congo and any other country that comes to my attention is in the kingdom of God right now - blessed, not cursed! You bring back to my memory that passage from “Science and Health” ( 361? ) As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light one with the sun, even so God and man, Father and Son, are one in being! God bless you more!
89. fujiko says:
Yes, Didier, more than anything else embracing our dear brothers and sisters, countries in Gods light is needed and it will brings so much blessing and unity in the world! Our work continues w/ joy, in joy and for the glory of God. thank you for writing in - God bless all of you out there - fujiko
90. Sanjay says:
I would like to respond to JP#3 about why should we worship and praise God.
I know that I used to think like that at one time.
I used to wonder why do we worship God or sing praises when anyway God is giving good and light to all. But I realised gradually after seeking for God, that a sense of being constantly in the ‘light of God’s love’ emerges. You draw nigh to whatever you think of constantly. So when you think of God and His goodness, you realise that He cares for you and you feel the constant warmth and sense of being watched over and cared for. It gives a sense of freedom, companionship and adds a glow to your experiences. And a sense of protection regardless of where you are. And then when whether awake or asleep, God is your beloved, and you are God’s beloved. Isn’t it wonderful to be loved that way! Thank you Fujiko for your beautiful lift.
The daily lifts are like a ray of inspiration and love shining into our thoughts everyday.
Thank you
91. Karen says:
Fujiko,
How exciting to hear your beautiful message regarding the sun’s marvelous energy as compared to God’s influence over all that he creates. What a joy to know that as with the “Asian tour” of our U.S. President, we can understand that it is the same God that is influencing and governing all nations and peoples. Thank you so much for all of your efforts in spreading the word abroad!
92. Donna S. Los Angeles says:
I love the sense of world community that the Daily Lift inspires, and am grateful to all those who respond.
All of us cared for and loved by one universal God.
